Sue Carroll

With over 30 years in the industry, Sue Carroll is an experienced Hair and Makeup Artist based in Sydney, known for her work across film, television, commercials, and stills.

Sue began her career as a fully qualified Hairdresser. She later moved to London, where she trained in makeup artistry. Returning to Sydney, she established her freelance practice and further qualified with a Cert III in Makeup & Special Effects.

Her film credits include major productions such as Furiosa (George Miller), Fall Guy, Street Fighter, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Babadook, Moulin Rouge, and The Matrix, along with multiple Head of Department roles on independent features. 

On television she has worked on series including Pieces of Her, Total Control 3, My Kitchen Rules, Farmer Wants a Wife (HOD), The Bachelor Australia, Love Child, and Home and Away. Her commercial and stills work spans leading brands such as Qantas, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Nestlé, Toyota, McDonald’s, and KFC, as well as editorial projects for a variety of magazines. 

Sue has collaborated with a wide range of well-known Australian and international talent and brings a refined, adaptable approach to every project — whether feature film, television series, or high-end commercial.
